Veeam SQL Server Prerequisite

To be able to successfully execute a Veeam SQL job in EDRM you must meet the prerequisites needed for this type of job.

Validating Microsoft SQL setup

Log on to the destination SQL server open SQL Server Configuration Manager and set the SQL Server Browser Service to start Automatically.

In case you have more than one instance, select the instance you plan to use for recovery, then enable Named Pipes and TCP/IP protocols.

Open TCP/IP properties and configure the listening port, the default MS SQL port is 1433, but you can configure the different one.
