About
This document describes steps that need to be performed to add an additional users to the EnsureDR subscription.
If you haven't completed the initial setup before continuing, please refer to the following documents:
IAM console
The first step is to navigate to the IAM console in AWS.
Creating a new user and adding it to the dedicated AWS group
Select Users in the IAM console, then click on Add Users button
A new page will open and now you need to provide a username, enter User details, and click on the Next button
Select a dedicated group that you created during the initial setup, then click the Next button to add a new user to the selected group
On the Review and create page click on the Create user button
Adding an existing user to the dedicated AWS group
If you already have an AWS account, you will need to add your account to the EnsreDR group created during the initial setup and create a secret if you haven't already. To add your account to the dedicated AWS Group, please select User groups in the IAM console, then click on the Group name you created in the initial setup.
A new form will appear, click the Add users button.
Select your account from the list, then click on Add users button
Creating a secret for a user
Select User in the left pane of an IAM console, then click on the desired user name. A new form is open, please select the Security credentials tab
Please scroll down and navigate to the Access keys section, then click on Create access key button
Select Command Line Interface (CLI) then select the checkbox in front of I understand the above recommendation and want to proceed to create an access key, then click on the Next button
A new form is open where you can put the tag as optional, now click on Create access key button
The Retrieve access keys form is open. Now click on Download .csv file button to download the file with access and secret key. This CSV file you should put in a safe place.
